I wrote about the Haneef railroad in Aug of 2007. Seeing Keelty resign now, as the only maybe cryptic fallout from that offence, is a bit of a letdown. But it's better than nothing. And I'm at least happy to see that everyone these days is seeing things the way I(read: we who were right about it) did.

Only related because it falls in the bucket of Lib cock-ups: yesterday Malcom "Merchant Banker" Turnbull came out and said "it's not the retail nubmers that matter" (because the retail numbers were up) "it's the jobs". Well today the jobs numbers are in, and looking rather better than one would expect.

We will listen, ear to the rail, for the coming spinning Turnbull. Word is, 7:30 Report is a must-see tonight.
